About us

The Enjoy Silicon Valley blog is an idea of Giulietta and Maria Luisa (nickname: Pipa), two italian women who have been living in Los Altos since August 2012.
This blog aims to be a reference point for people moving to Silicon Valley and searching for a community of people where to find help and information. We also propose concrete activities in the South Bay for the Italian Community, hopefully enlarging to other European communities.
Giulietta is a frequent expat, abroad since 1997. She has lived in France, Japan, India. She is a teacher and runs her own company, Racconte mois an histoire, creating clothes for girls 4-12 years old. He also regularly writes her own blog, “I Cerruti in India“.
She has 3 beautiful daughters.
Maria Luisa, with her strange nickname Pipa, is a recent expat: US is her first experience abroad. She is an engineer in electronics and she spent over 10 years in a big semiconductor company. She has an Executive Master in Business Administration and she created an online community for moms, WhyMum.it and had an e-commerce business in Italy (toy pianos and balance bikes for kids).
She loves playing guitar and writing. She has two young sons.
